ATTENTION: Due to renovation work, the Mautener Danube Bridge will be closed from 15 May 2026. Access to the Teichstellplätze Mautern from the left bank of the Danube will then only be possible via the St. Pölten Bridge.

Directions

Coming from the west (Weißenkirchen / Wachau) – along the B3

  1. Take the B3 along the northern bank of the Danube towards Krems / Mautern.
  2. Continue along the B3 downstream, heading east.
  3. The approach to the Mautern Danube Bridge will be closed from 15 May 2026, and it will not be possible to cross the Danube there.
  4. Therefore, continue on the B3 to the St. Pölten Bridge (B37).
  5. Cross the Danube via the St. Pölten Bridge to the southern bank of the Danube.
  6. After crossing the Danube, keep heading towards Mautern / B33.
  7. Follow the road along the Danube towards Mautern.
  8. Turn left onto Austraße.
  9. Follow Austraße to the address Austraße 15a, 3512 Mautern.
  10. The Teichstellplätze are located next to the pond area.
